Bechtel and AECOM were recognized as Top 10 Most Generous Workplaces and both were nominees for the Live United Corporate Partner of the Year. Additionally, AECOM at WTP was a nominee for Highest Employee Giving Per Capita.

AECOM at WTP’s Flamingo Flocking fundraiser was featured as one of the creative ways that funds were raised in annual campaigns. It placed third in a People’s Choice Award contest for best campaign fundraiser.

Staci West, WTP Communications Manager, was named the inaugural winner of the Community Impact Contributor Award for her role leading the 2018 Festival of Trees 60th anniversary fundraising event.

Local 598 was nominated for both Initiative Partner of the Year (for Bikes for Tikes) and for Highest Employee Giving per Capita; and received recognition for being both an Over the Top Company (more than 50% of employees donated) and also a Rise to the Challenge Company (increased giving every year for at least 3 consecutive years).

WTP workers donated nearly $350,000 during the 2018 WTP United Way campaign.
